Description
The Attar plant contains a colorless or slightly green volatile oil at a rate of 0..2-0.3% from the green grass after steam distillation.
The process takes place 24 hours after the plant is distilled, as some glycosides decompose in the grass, leading to an increase in the oil levels.
Attar oil contains 60 -70% geraniol, citronellal, citizenly, and various ester alcohols.
The oil resulting from the green grass is used in industries for the production of perfumes, many scents, and various cosmetics.
It is also used as a pink-scented substance in the manufacture of soap and toilet papers.
The oil is also used in the food industries due to its strong smell in the production of spirits, dairy products, and the manufacture of pies and sweets.
